Wind, clouds and a lone tree was the result after a nights wait in hopes of seeing the aurora. The second I decided to look for something else ideas started to flow and even if I did not get to see any Auroras, I am very happy with the experience. Image captured in Sørkjosen, Troms, Northern Norway.
A beautiful sunset with a double rainbow just maxed out the luckmeter for a long time.
Image shortlisted for Astronomy photographer of the year 2014. Captured in Steinsvik, Troms, Northern Norway during a strong aurora flare that lasted only a few minutes. The figure on the right side is my brother searching for his lost lenscap. He did throw a few cursewords after he missed out on capturing most of this flare, but in the end it provided quite the laugh.
