The funny thing is that this little river is only about 20 meters away from the main road, but when the conditions is right it is just beautiful, but it has a limited time frame where the light is just right, first two weeks in july. I tried to shoot this one year before I got this image, but the condition was never right, so after having the image in the back of my head for a year it was a good release to finally get it. Captured in Nordreisa, Northern Norway.
Beautiful clear skies far away from any light pollution, does not get much better contitions to watch the night sky. Getting the milky way between the aurora is something that has crossed my mind many times but not something I thought I would get anytime soon, luck played a big part in getting this shot but so have the constant chase for the most beautiful auroras. Captured in Reisadalen, Nordreisa, Troms, Northern Norway.
After a long days work my brothern and I headed to this river to relax and snap a few images, with a ready fireplace just a few meters away from this river it was the perfect place to chill out. You always have to judge an image based on what you want to include and exclude and due to powerlines going just outside the left of the image I had to push the composition a bit more to the right. Was standing on some real slippery rocks as welll so it provided quite a few interesting moments when shooting this. Image captured in Kvænangsbotn, Troms, Northern Norway.
