Captured of Nusfjord in Lofoten, Northern Norway. One of the first thing I noticed driving in here was the brilliant green in the shadow of the mountain, that was really my clue for this capture. With rather slow moving clouds I worked my way using a long exposure with a filter to block the light, at 1 minute it was not quite there, nor at 2 minutes, but at 3 minutes everything just worked and it is a capture that has grown more on me and is now one of my favourite all time images.
After a long week Saturday comes in as a day of joy, time to do the things one really likes. Lights pushes away all the mist and clouds, making everything much clearer and the soft colors makes it a very inviting day.
Sometimes the best shots comes when you least expect it, having been to some of the most beautiful places in Senja in Northern Norway this image I shot when leaving and where I originally had no intentions of capturing. The morning fog added such mood to the image that it encapsulated all the emotions from the entire trip into a single frame and what I thought to be a strikeout turned into a home run.
