Thin wispy clouds came to life after sunset and the trees stood like characters in a play. Every time I notice something while walking around, I know there is a potential for a good image there, this was one of those moments. When I was walking past this trees the first time the clouds was quite different and less colorful, but I liked the trees here and after spending some time taking pictures near the lakes, the light changed and I went back to these trees. The difference from seeing this exact scene the first time to the second was like night and day. Image captured in Kvænangsbotn, Northern Norway.
There is something about cold winter nights that really makes it great to photograph, the cold crisp air makes it easy to see really far and when the moon is illuminating the land you can make out details at an extreme range. This really felt like a postcard kind of place with the fresh snow on the trees. Image captured on Kvænangsfjellet, Troms, Northern Norway.
Rain, fog, sunlight and ice breaking up, just a fantastic night that will be remembered for many years. Image captured in Nordreisa, Northern Norway.
