During this time of year, this inner area of the ocean gets filled up with ice and the tide keeps moving the ice around, so it is never the same if you come back the next day. 5 mornings I kept coming back to shoot this area, hoping for some nice skies, not only was it nice, it was some of the coolest clouds I have seen in a long time. Winter tend to be quite long lasting in Northern Norway, even in May there is snow and ice, sometimes even in June. A really cold breeze coming from the valley behind here made having a fire a necessity and having a warm cup of coffee when out shooting just makes the day. When you forget about the tide coming in and get your feet soaked, you know it is some beautiful auroras. :) Image captured in Nordreisa, Northern Norway.
