Majestic and beautiful, the Lyngen Alps rarely dissapoints, especially with such bright moonlight and aurora. I was shooting at this location with a fellow friend and photographer, since he had to get to work we did not have much time, but both of us was going "Oh, just one more shots" like 20 or so times, it made him late for work, but it was just too beautiful to not stay a little longer.
Every image is in its own way a journey, both physically and mentally, as a photographer you are always trying to bring a little something of yourself into the images and this in particular stands as something I can look at and think about the journeys that has been and the ones to come. Sometimes you get those deep moments when out photographing, but all those different moments has an effect on the images you take, I feel it is always for the positive. Super cold nights are amazing to photograph, but the desire to stay out for very long goes away rather quickly when it dips below -30 degrees celcius. An incoming car and the city lights in the distance created this glow behind the tree and put a unique quality on the image. Image captured in Kildalen(Nordreisa), Troms, Northern Norway.
